“if I didn’t have bad luck, I’d have no luck at all…” 💔 That could not describe our boy Dobbie Doodles any better. This beautiful soul has never truly had a place to call home. No stability, no security, no real sense of being loved and wanted… and that breaks our hearts 💔 But we are determined that his story changes now. His next move needs to be his last. His forever. Dobbie hasn’t had the easiest past and because of that he does come with a few quirks — but please don’t let that put you off. His only real challenge is his reactivity to other animals out on walks, so he will need a quieter home where he won’t be overwhelmed by lots of dogs passing by. A secure outdoor space is also a must for him — somewhere he can safely relax and enjoy the simple things in life 🏡 And now for the part that really matters… who Dobbie truly is ❤️ In the home, he is an absolute dream. His foster cannot speak highly enough of him. He is calm, content and happiest just “tootering” around beside his people. He thrives on attention and affection — a total snuggle bug who just wants to be close to you 🥺 He is doing brilliantly with his house training (around 90% there!) and while he still has the occasional nighttime accident, this is improving as he settles into routine. He’s incredibly clever too — he can sit, give paw, lie down and wait… and there’s definitely more in there just waiting to come out. He’s very food motivated (and yes… a bit of a cheeky scavenger 😝), so a home that can manage that will get the absolute best out of him. Dobbie is: ✨ Loving and affectionate ✨ Great with visitors ✨ Quiet in the home (not a barker) ✨ Full of potential and eager to please He really just needs a calm, understanding home — ideally someone around during the day — where he can finally relax, feel safe and be loved the way he deserves. Dobbie will need to be the only pet, but trust us… he has more than enough love to give ❤️ He could live with older teens. If someone is willing to give him that chance, to work with him and see past his past… we truly believe Dobbie will be an absolute dream dog.
